Our team, including Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practitioners and learning disability nurses, brings a wealth of expertise in conducting specialised assessments, crafting plans, and providing appropriate support.
At Home Not Hospital, we understand that the journey with the individuals we assist is not always easy. Many of them have faced challenges such as abuse, rejection, and trauma in their lives.
It’s common for some to show signs of post-traumatic stress, have histories of long-term institutional care, or lack typical socialisation experiences.
Despite these challenges and their perceived limitations, we believe that with empathetic, skilful support and the chance to lead a fulfilling life, the people we serve can achieve and contribute far beyond their initial circumstances.
